- Disclaimer: This is a generic set of instructions that detail how to install the ITRANS Communications Agent. Each piece of practice management software requires the iCA to be setup in a certain manner to function properly. It is always recommended that you contact your practice management software vendor to do a re-installation of the iCA. If you have a copy of the iCA already installed it is recommended that you back up the iCA directory (and claims directory if different) to avoid any loss of data.
- Download the latest version of the iCA in our ITRANS Claims Support Download section.
- Extract all the files in from the iCA.zip file to your iCA Folder.
- Copy the following files: dartcertificate.dll, dartsecure2.dll,dartsock.dll, to your "Path to Wherever the your copy of windows is located":\windows\system32 folder.
- Register the dlls using the following command: "regsvr32 DartCertificate.dll DartSock.dll DartSecure2.dll" Thereafter you should receive 3 prompts advising you that the files were registered successfully.
- Register the iCA dll using the following command: "regsvr32 "Path to Wherever the ica is located"\iCAControl.dll" Thereafter you should receive a prompt advising you that the file was registered successfully.
- Open the iCA.ini.
- Modify the following line:
"iCADirectory=C:\iCA" So that it points your iCA directory. - Reboot the computer.
- Launch the iCA.
- Note: The "Start in" value for any shortcut to the iCA.exe MUST be populated.
