  IMPORTANT NOTICE
  
  • If you are not aware of how your practice management software is configured to use ITRANS, STOP, do not use this installation package and contact your practice management software vendor for assistance with configuring your practice management software to send electronic transactions using ITRANS. Use of the generic installation package without the knowledge and understanding of how your practice management software is configured to use ITRANS can lead to and or compound technical issues with sending electronic transactions.
  • This installation package is generic, does not conform to any practice management software configuration, and does not replace the installation package provided by your practice management software vendor.
  • Should you be aware of how your practice management software is configured to use ITRANS and have the ability to make all the appropriate changes needed for normal operation of the iCA; and would like to make use of the iCAService be aware:
    i) Should this deviate from your practice management software vendors default configuration, use of the iCAService can lead to confusion and or technical issues when dealing with practice management software vendor support agents. ii) You must make sure that the iCAService is launched by the same windows user account which contains valid ITRANS Digital Certificate(s) for the provider(s) that will be sending electronic transactions. iii) Be sure to set the startup type of the service to automatic.
