iCA Service ReadMe notes - September 2, 2005 ======================================================================= The iCA Toolset now contains a version of the iCA that can be installed as a service. This allows for unattended sending of transactions on a server or workstation without running an application. In order to install the service, insure the iCA Readme instructions have been followed first. Register the "iCAServiceControl.ocx" file => regsvr32 iCA\iCAServiceControl.ocx Then, run the iCAService.exe application with the /Service parameter like this: iCAService /Service This will add the service into your Windows services list. You can then configure the service by selecting iCAService and choosing Properties. This can be used to start the service, and set it to start automatically when the machine starts up. Please note that most provider certificates are added as a specific user into the Windows Security System (Crypto API). The iCAService should be configured to run as the same user that was used to add the certficates in Internet Explorer.
